Beautiful fall day

The activity in the park has picked up. The day is beautiful and people are running around like worker bees. The polishing cloths have come out and everyone seems to have a project. I makes me tired just watching.

Yesterday I got my mail and it necessitated a whole lot of paper work. The Progressive Insurance policy arrived and they requested information of proof of insurance and a signed application that they hadn't requested earlier. I got the papers all lined up, signed and in the mail. Then there was health insurance issues that needed to be attended to. October is open enrollment for the State health insurance plan. Up until now I was only offered 1 choice of insurance because I had an out of state address. One choice was realatively easy to make with little difficulty on my part. This year they have switched carriers and I have 3 choices. This requires a bit more effort on my part, because I will have to understand the differences before I can make a decision. And you thought being retired was easy, ha.

So today I will be reading the insurance handbook from Progressive and going on line to try to understand the difference in heath insurance policies being offered, with an occasional glance out the window to watch other people working. As my father used to tell me "John, hard work doesn't seem to bother you at all, you seem to be able to watch it all day." It's just part of enjoying the good life.
