This morning I did some of my settling in chores, I got the flag up and the light for the flag placed and wired and the I put on the wheel covers for the sunny side of the coach. I also contacted Chip Baker about dropping by to check the damage to the slide out awning. With that in mind I need to stick pretty close to home today to see what develops.
One improvement here at Cedar Cove was they finally got the WIFI up and running. This park is on 5 levels and getting a signal to every level has been a challenge, but this trip it is working at my location and the signal is strong. They have also started a recycling program to cut down on the trash expense which has tripled in the last year.
So today the plan is sit back, watch the wind blow and smell the clean air while enjoying the good life.
I like your plan for today. Sounds very relaxing and really enjoyable. Have a great day!!!
ReplyDeleteBeing retired requires a definite pacing of energies.
DeleteHope your awning repair doesn't ding your wallet too badly.
ReplyDeleteI'll join you in that wish.
DeleteIs that WiFi at a state park?
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm at Cedar Cove commercial RV park
DeleteWIFI is a great thing...especially when it is free.
ReplyDeleteI am a huge support of recycling. We recycled just about everything in Mission. We just arrived in Ohio and I have already begun the recycling of paper. Great idea for the park to do this.
Me too, we recycled in Mission too, but here they drug their feet until landfill fees tripled in the last 6 months. That was the push they needed to get them going.
DeleteI see you've dropped anchor. Sounds good to me!
ReplyDeleteTaking care of business. At a retired persons pace.
DeleteNice to be settled in.
ReplyDeleteI will have to replace the awning on the trailer so it will look good when it goes on the market. Hope they don't ask for to much blood.
I think all that's required is an arm and leg. Once they take the leg we can get jobs at IHOP.
