God Bless the USA.
Chip came by yesterday and he is now working up a quote on the two types of awning fabrics available and then I'll have a choice to make. Apparently the choice is vinyl or canvass and there is a price and wear difference. I'm hoping to get the information today so we can get something ordered.
The rest of the day will be spent avoiding the wind while enjoying the good life.
Sounds like that area could be a sister to the RGV. Lots of wind.
ReplyDeleteQuite a bit more than the RGV.
DeleteI think wind is everywhere this spring. We are definitely "breezy" today also. Which means Jim can't go fishing. He's not happy with the weather.
ReplyDeleteSorry for you Sandie that Jim can't go fishing.
DeleteMe too.
DeleteWheres John today? definitely not at j-5 anymore! Have fun up there, I am rolling toward Del Rio for the night.
ReplyDeleteWatch the winds as you go west.
DeleteBetter to be planted than driving in those winds.
ReplyDeleteWinds are gusting to 41 mph and it is better to be planted.
DeleteLove to see our colors flying but I guess that's probably a bit too much. Gotta take care of Old Glory.
ReplyDeleteThe wind got so bad I had to strike the colors. I'll have to wait until things calm a bit.
DeleteWill this wind every stop blowing? I am so tired of it.
ReplyDeleteChecking ahead here, maybe Friday and I'm with, enough is enough.
DeleteHope the winds die down before you replace that awning. I'd hate to see you blown away trying to hand on to it and then the news reporting all kinds of UFO sightings... ;c)
ReplyDeleteChip already told me, he doesn't work in the wind either.
