This mornings cold temperature, 29 degrees, is restricting people movement around the park. Everyone has decided to stay in their caves for the most part. The lack of communication with the outside world has caused a certain void on the information of what's going on in the park. One thing I did hear was that a group of homeowners from Golden Acres (the mobile/park model part of the park) went to the office yesterday to offer solutions, but came away with nothing resolved. It seems that management continues to be a barrier to making any progress on the parks problems.
Right now the temperature is hovering around 35 degrees and it is not supposed to go any higher. The overnight low will be in the low 20's and the snow word is still in the forecast. If one drop of snow is seen it will constitute a snow emergency around here and panic will ensue with the locals. It's good that folks are staying inside, that way we don't have to listen to each other grumble. Today I will again hibernate waiting for warmer temperatures and a chance to enjoy the good life once again.
I am new to your blog and I wanted to let you know the temp here in sunny, warm Tucson is 18 degrees right now at 8:30am This has been going on for some days with temps going as low as 6 in some areas. Parts of Pima County lost water and natural gas. I have had my pipes freeze and bust. And they had been wrapped up very well. Hope we all see some warmer temps soon.
ReplyDeleteJOJO, I second that motion.
