A fellow RVer related to me that when he went to get his mail he overheard a conversation coming from the office that amazed him, although I don't know why anything coming from the office would amaze anyone at this point. It seems the restrooms in the rec hall were out of toilet paper and this person went to the office to see about getting them replenished. Management doesn't think this is something that they are responsible for and suggested a talk with the recreation committee was in order. I understand that the exchange became rather heated and management finally relented and gave up one roll of paper. Apparently management's idea of running an RV park is to accept money and provide nothing. Of course the eye opener is that toilet paper is now a recreational item.
Yesterday saw the Falcon Lake Large Mouth Bass record fall as one lucky fisherman pulled in one at 15 pounds 6 ounces. This broke the old record of 15lb 1oz. the same person also had one at over 13 lbs. I'd say he had a pretty good day.
This morning we are fogged in and it's almost thick enough to be a drizzle. We are under a 30% chance of rain so we'll just have to see what the day brings. One thing for sure the weather didn't dampen the enthusiasm for the first flea market of the year. there was a nice crowd searching out the bargains.
Some of the flea hunters.
Mel and I will probably keep pretty close company today unless the weather improves, but we will still figure out a way to enjoy the good life.
