Merry Christmas Everyone!
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house.....and out on the lawn there rose such a clatter, I sprang from my chair to see what was the matter. No, it wasn't St. Nick, t was the infamous 4 Seasons Carolers. A group of ladies who propel themselves around the park in holiday festooned golf carts stopping every so often to bellow forth good tidings in the form of Christmas tunes and evoking smiles from all they visit.
Spreading Christmas joy form door to door, it's the 4 Seasons ladies of song.
Then quick as a flash they were off again searching out there next unsuspecting target.
Today at noon o'clock we will be gathering in the rec hall for our annual Christmas feast where everyone comes in with one covered dish and leaves with parts of several covered dishes tucked safely in their bellies. I will again be charged with dispensing the meat, a job that has increased in responsibility since we have added ham to the traditional turkey. I expect to be leaving shortly for the hall to preform the necessary quality control checks before the event begins. Eating Christmas dinner with a couple of hundred friends is certainly a good way to enjoy the good life.
