Quick trip to Laredo

This mornings post was delayed by a trip to Laredo with Angelo and Judy. Wal-mart beckoned and we came. Now to continue with the pictures of the Sunday tour of San Ygnacio. Our next stop was the home of Adrian Martinez. The home was built in 1873 by Don Manuel Maria Uribe and it was extensively remodeled in 1982. We entered through the courtyard area which is a statement unto itself. One word describes it all, eccentric,.

After the courtyard it was into the home itself. There is a lifestyle statement being mad here and I will have to say it was more than a little interesting, especially if you like everything with a touch of gold. If a picture is worth a thousand words here is 7,000 words worth of description.

I will have to say the tastes on Mr. Martinez and I are a few miles apart.

The rest of the day is pretty much shot with only enough time for a bit of visiting a quick siesta and, as always, enjoying the good life.
