In a fog

This morning I woke up in a fog (some would argue that this is a daily occurrence), but the sun quickly dissipated it and we are off to a good start for the day. Heading towards the mid 80's again I hear.

A look at the hall that was filled with irresistible bargains.
The first stop this morning was a trip to the rec hall for the monthly flea market. I was able to resist all temptations that were thrown at me, well at least until I got to the donut booth where I was compelled to start the day with a healthy breakfast. The traffic was good to start the morning and there were a lot of happy folks who just live for a bargain.

People enjoying coffee, donuts and lots of conversation.

More than a few good things to eat at the VFW booth.

John and Jeanie's jewelry  booth were they sell, as Jeanie puts it "a few things that John doesn't wear any more".

Last night Ang, Judy, Larry and I went to El Paraiso to introduce Ang and Judy to the Chicken Fried Steak. The evening was a success and I got the impression that they will find their way back a time or two before they head back to Missouri.

After all the activity this morning this afternoon will be conducted at a slower pace with some time devoted to visiting and a ball game or two will be worked in while trying to enjoy the good life.
