Today around the park garage sales have sprung up like weeds. I have always equated garage sales to the fellow who grew up in my home town. Tom Sawyer when tasked to whitewash his parents fence convinced his peers that there was such joy in the venture that he would allow them a chance to share in the fun for the mere payment of an apple or two. The garage sale works in a similar manner in which people are convinced to pay you money to haul away the junk that you don't want any more.
Here is just one of the many garage sales taking place in the park. Eager shoppers have come into the park from all over town to save money by spending money on things that they really have no use for. Interesting concept, isn't it?
Today's temperature is again heading toward the mid 80's so there will be lot's of opportunity to visit while enjoying the good life.
