Welcome

Today I want to extend a welcome to all the folks that have recently begun reading the blog. My readership has increased dramatically in recent weeks as a result of a listing in Hitchitch a website dedicated to RV resources and a listing of travel adventures and blogs. To those who have joined, my blog is just a simple recounting of my life on the road as a full time RVer. The journey began three years ago when I retired from the State of Missouri in Hannibal, Missouri and I've been on the road ever since. I normally winter in Zapata, Texas to avoid that ugly four letter word snow and the rest of the year I travel around seeing what I can see. Much like Charles Kuralt Mel (my motorhome) and I  travel the back roads of America because we've found America lives on the back roads. So thanks for joining us on our journey and if you have time drop us a line and let us know your thoughts.

Today we are waiting for the UPS delivery of the new Mr. Acer computer so we can begin setting it up and and hoping above hope that it works like it's supposed to. We of course, as always, will also be enjoying the good life.

  1. Hi John, Looks as though you have settled fully into your mobile lifestyle. My John and I are enjoying the snowless parts of California for the winter. Be safe...
