All nighter

The new Mr. Acer arrived by Fed-Ex yesterday about 4:30 PM and I immediately got to work with the set-up. About six my neighbors alerted me that UPS had just come into the park, so out to the road I went to head the driver off at the pass.It was lucky I did, because no one had told the driver the the old Mr. Acer was heading back. The driver was happy for the business and off old Mr. Acer went before he had time to tell new Mr. Acer what fun we'd had. Then it was back to the set-up. Most of the job was done in a couple of hours except for the major updates and program downloads the were postponed until 1:00 am  to take advantage of the Hughes.net free download time. I'm glad I waited because Windows alone had 83 updates that took well over two hours to install the it was new downloads for AVG Virus protection, Mr. Canon needed new software and finally Mr. Scanner was updated. By the time all of this was done I finally found the sheets at 5:30 this morning. I passed on jumping out of bed at 7:00 this morning and I continued to pass until it was 9:30. By the time I hosed down the body it was 10:30 and the day is getting away from me. The good thing to report is the new Mr. Acer seems to be working very similar to a computer, so far. I ran a few tests this morning and nothing seemed to be amiss.

The rest of today includes a trip to the office to pay rent and the possibility of a siesta looms large. I'll also spend some time enjoying the good life.
