Cool snaps over
The cool snap we've been enjoying is over. During the cool snap we even had a day where the temperature didn't make it over 100 degrees. . Well today the thermometer is on the rise again and we are headed 110 degrees with 114 on the horizon for Friday. Looks like Mel and I will be keeping pretty close company for the day or two. I have decided my next destination will be the Grand Canyon. I am going to make reservation at the Grand Canyon Railroad RV park. the plan is to arrive Tuesday night and stay at the RV park. Ride the train to the Grand Canyon on Wednesday and spend Wednesday night back in the RV park, leaving to head east on Thursday. So today reservations will be made. This will give me something to do while avoiding the heat enjoying the good life

It nearly made me faint when the temp hit 92 in the sun here in Alpine this afternoon.
