Touch of fall

A touch of fall has come to Lake Havasu City Arizona. Last night we actually watched temperatures plummet into the 70's and today we start thinking of football as the temperature has that fall crispness as we head for 99 degrees.

This morning was spent on the phone with a call to my sister Maggie to wish her a happy 60th and a call from my brother Mark to bring me up to date on happenings in Hannibal. I also checked the status of my internet orders and found that everything should arrive by the first of the week. Now I will have to decided if I want to get back on the road to find cooler temperatures or to hold out to use the rent I've paid. Right now I'm leaning toward cooler temperatures. Looking at the extended forecast the temperature is headed back toward the 110 degree range so I'm leaning toward moving on.

Today's plan is again centered around the air conditioner which is about the only way to enjoy the good life around here.
