Package #1 arrived.

Package # 1 Arrived Saturday, but I wasn't able to retrieve it until this morning because of the irregular hours at the office. Package #1 was the one I was most anxious to get because it contained a new toy designed to make life easier. Everyone who has ever camped knows the joy of wrestling with the 3" sewer hose hookup, also know as the 'stinky slinky'. Well I found a product called the Sewer Solution that if it works as advertised should make the job a lot neater and storage much easier. Of course it was necessary to put it to a test. Hookup was very straight forward and it seemed to work well. Here is a picture of what came in the kit.

All I needed to a add was a water hose and it was ready to operate. The water hose adds a jet of water to liquefy the waste and when the tank is empty you close the gate valve and the jet of water cleans everything up ready for storage.

Here it is installed and ready to go to work. The hose attachment is a quick connect fitting with an anti-siphon valve installed. First try and it worked well.

Today I will be waiting for package #2 and my mail to arrive from South Dakota. Package #2 is a replacement 30 amp plug for my shore power. My original plug was of the molded variety and with the air conditioner constantly running in this heat it has softened the prongs. It is still functional, but why take a chance. There will still be time to watch a ballgame while enjoying the good life.
