This morning with cloudy skies and the threat of rain it's off to Laredo to prevent a build up of WalMart withdrawl. This is the monthly ritual where Mel gets some exercise and the pantry is filled all the while lessening the weight I have carry around in my back pocket. So the trip has multiple benefits.
Yesterday while everyone was avoiding the cool wind a few of the brave fishermen ventured out to chase the elusive bass. My next door neighbor was rewarded for his efforts with a 9 pound 5 ounce lunker that put him in second place in the 4 Seasons fishing tournament.

Well it's time to get Mel ready to travel so we can fill the refrigerator. A full refrigerator is part of enjoying the good life.
