The weather promises to be better today with a high of 70 degrees. Last night I went to Angels for supper with some friends and had way too much chicken fried steak. Around here there is no such thing as leaving the table hungry. I had the small chicken fried steak and it filled three quarters of the platter, with jus barely enough room left for the baked potato. After supper I hurried over to the rec hall where a small crowd assembled to watch Tommy Helms, aka Burl Ives, and Miss Faith preform. They put on a real good show which included a lot of Burl Ives music. Those that attended had a very good time.

Today will be spent enjoying the sunshine and the better temperatures, watching some basketball and generally finishing what I started yesterday.....nothing. All in an attempt to enjoy the good life.
