Here we go again, another day of cabin fever is in store. We have started the day out with a 'fog' that has left puddles on the ground and the temperature is 45 on the way to a high of, maybe, 58. The only person who seems to be enjoying this is the propane man.
Meet Russ. Russ is one of our fine military men who has just returned from an overseas tour and is enjoying a few days with his folks, Rhonda and Brian, before heading to his next duty station. Yesterday he managed to capture an 8 pound 10 ounce bass which made his trip to Zapata a success. The fishermen here are really doing well this year and every day seems to bring another catch of 8 to 11 pounds. Brians 14.44 pounder is still the largest from Falcon lake for the season.
As usual a group of well-wishers was waiting to welcome the fishermen home.
Today will be spent watching Nikki and LilBit who's people have fled to Laredo for the day. I'll also be figuring out a way to enjoy the good life in spite of the weather.
