Last night it was time for the parks chili cookoff and people were busy all day brewing up their secret recipes. There were 7 contestants and in addition Gary and his crew cooked up a large batch so everyone was fed.
The crock pots are the contestants entries. The roasters are what Gary's gang made.

More of the crowd. At $1.00 for all you can eat chili it's not hard to attract a crowd.
Today we are having another day that falls into the why us category. It is 46 degrees and there is a 60% chance of rain. This is to be followed tomorrow with a 70% chance of rain. We are going to have to work extra hard the next couple of days to enjoy the good life.
