Veterans Day 2014

In the 11th month at the 11th hour it's time to take a couple of minutes to reflect on the sacrifices made to make our country what it is today. Will you give a couple of minutes of your time?

This song has been a tradition on this blog for the past 8 years although this year I am posting a different video the song is still the same, Terry Kelly's 'A pittance of time'.

    1. It took a pilot that knew what he was doing to squeeze onto an LST. I too enjoyed my time.

  4. From a shallow water sailor to a deep water sailor, thank you for your service, brother! Of course, on the boats and cutters I sailed, our number one priority was to stay OFF the beach! :cD

    1. I'm old enough that they don't have LST's in the Navy any longer and my job, as a signalman, has been eliminated too.
