9/22/2014 - 9/28/2014

Another quite week here at Val's in the deep south of Texas. A visit to the Dermatologist on Wednesday revealed that three of the four biopsies were negative and the fourth will be removed by MOHS surgery on this coming Tuesday.

The other event was the arrival of my neighbors Ken and Lyn from where I last saw them in Cortez Colorado. On the way here they stopped in Albuquerque and traded trailers. So the have a new home to break in.

Other activity of course was watching the Cardinals struggle to wrap of the division title which they were finally able to do on the last day of the season. Football was also good this weekend with the teams I follow all winning.

The temperatures have still been high and the humidity even higher and a bit more rain. We now stand at 10.52 inches since I arrived on the 6th.

And that concludes another week here in paradise.

  3. I saw on Facebook that the wildlife refuge in Los Fresnos was closed due to a flooded road, I hope that you are not getting flooded.

    1. We've had plenty of rain, but it was needed and the flooding was mostly temporary.
