4/9/2014 - 4/11/2014

Wednesday
More exits toward the north today and there will be even more in the next couple of days. The park is really quiet. Record times are being set in my laps around the park with the lack of folks to visit with. I can now beat almost any turtle know to man.

Thursday
Today I received a windfall when Laurie knocked on my door and brought me the contents of her refrigerator prior to her and Marty departing for Saskatchewan in the morning. That was sure nice of them.

And it just keeps on, I had another person here in the park congratulate me today on the sale of the motorhome and what a fine deal I made. I suggested they go back and check the date of the entry. I've sure gotten a lot of mileage out of the bit of Tom Foolery done on April 1st.

Friday
I got a call first thing this morning from the Dermatologists office reminding me of Mondays appointment. Looks like to me he is going to have to work pretty hard to find something to cut on because I haven't detected anything new. Fingers crossed.

I posted this clip on my Facebook page the other day and it has gone viral with over 14 million hits. If you haven't seen it yet, it's worth watching.

Go Cardinals.

  1. Too funny about the sale of your rig. Our park is rapidly becoming but our street is pretty much hanging tough. Five of us are going to be here until middle of May or first of June. I love that video. What a treat.

    1. Not to worry, I think he's booked up. Fortunately the food was mostly beverages, condiments and sandwich fixens.

  3. Good score on the food.

I am probably in the minority here but I feel he took the limelight away from the couple. After so many views I guess the couple is happy they got the singing minister.

    1. Actually the couple was interviewed the other night while they are in Mexico on their honeymoon and they seemed quite pleased with the attention and they spoke very highly of Fr. Kelly.

  7. Great weekend for the Cards but not for the family visiting from the north. Loved it that I didn't have to take the teasing from them. Good luck with the appointment.
