Sunday
First of all my apologies to Millenicom. After finally getting around to doing some research I've found this rate increase was forced on them by their supplier and they worked hard to avoid the rate increase, but it just wasn't going to happen. It seems the supplier wanted to give 20 Gb of service, but only the first 2 Gb at 4G and the rest at 3G. This is what the negotiations were about and we will have 20 Gb of service at the 4G rate, but it necessitated the rate increase. Second, I've found that if I want the same 20Gb of service I can switch back to Verizon and pay $130.00 a month with a two year contract instead of the $90.00 a month with no contract with Millenicom. After hours on the calculator and a lot of head scratching, I figured I'll stay where I'm at.

Monday
What's this? Here it is April 7th deep in the heart of Texas and last night the heat which was set a 65 kicks on.  Overnight low 52 which is wrong, so wrong.

Today is the home opener for the Cardinals. This is always fun with the Clydesdales, the Hall of Famers and the introduction of the players. It should be a fun afternoon if it doesn't snow.
Ended up with rain in St. Louis so the Clydesdales weren't allowed on the field. Everything else went off without a hitch and the Cardinals won 5 to 3.

Tuesday
Another day to watch more souls head north. A walk around the park would make the Maytag repairman feel uncomfortable. The park office has gone to summer hours which means the office is only open 2 hour on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I've never seen a park that is this hard to get something from the office.

Another Cardinal game and another Cardinal win. The season is off to a good start.

  1. John. Have you looked into Blue Mountain Internet? I was sent to them by Millennium when they changed last year. $79 a month unlimited 4g. It's a no contract and works great. It is on the sprint system like Millennium was. www.bmi.net

    1. Thanks for the heads up Michael. Millenicom is now on the Verizon system and straight 4G where available. I'll check out BMI.

  4. Still can't understand why anyone would want to head home when it is still freezing and snowing. We hit 96 today I was not impressed. Think I'll head up to Madera Canyon tomorrow to check things out and take pictures.
