3/30/2014 - 4/1/2014

Sunday
A quiet day with more basketball and the final four is now set. None of my teams are in this group so, for me, the basketball season is over. Baseball season starts tomorrow so it's time to switch hats and start cheering for the Cardinals.

Monday
Good news this morning. The IRS deposited my income tax overnight in my checking account. It was 10 days ago that I filed so it was a pretty quick turnaround on getting my money back from the government.
This afternoon it's game one of the 2014 baseball season and the Cardinals are playing Cincinnati. They won the game and now there are just 161 more games to go.

Tuesday
This morning I had a knock on the door and a young fellow was standing there when I answered wondering if I would be interested in selling Mel. Of course anything is for sale at the right price and when he offered me just two thousand less that I had originally paid for the unit, how could I say no? So I am now homeless and have to decide what I'm going to do next. Do I want to continue full timing or is it time to head off in another direction. Decisions, decisions.

  3. With all that money from selling Mel, I have the perfect bridge for you to buy... :cP

  4. Geez, I'm so gullible. I thought you were really selling. As I was pulling up the comment box, I was thinking whether I'd take a deal like that. But after all I've put into The Palms, I wouldn't. I might take what I paid for it PLUS $2,000. :)
