One of the weekend warriors brought Cujo along with him for the weekend and rather than take him inside for the night planted him in a pet carrier under his trailer. All was well until the dawns early light when Cujo decided to give his best imitation of a rooster and offered a wake up call for anyone within a football field radius. Not my favorite way to wake up.
I met with the coffee drinkers in the office this morning and feel better now that most of the world problems have been addressed. I did find out that we are going to be inundated with weekend warriors this afternoon. They have reservations for most every space on the level I'm on. Bring on the entertainment.
We are now into the long weekend mode and the kick off of the college football season today and a baseball game tonight should be enough to keep me out of the 95 degree heat while enjoying the good life.
We're sitting in the cool climate of the Oregon coast enjoying some Duck football. Feel kinda sorry for Nicholls but it's a good payday for them. I still remember when the Ducks went and got beat up for a good pre-season payday.
ReplyDeleteThe Missouri Tigers have had their down years too. Just part of college football.
DeleteI saw the movie Cujo. Just be thankful Cujo was in his cage... :cO
ReplyDeleteWhen he woke me this morning he was the one in peril.
DeleteOhio State won; VT is getting killed. Oh dear going to be a long year for the Hokies.
ReplyDeleteNotre Dame won, looked like the were going to explode, two touchdowns in the first 5 plays, but then things settled down.
DeletePeople are irresponsible! That make me mad that someone would do that to begin with. But I am grateful that you have solved the world's problems!
ReplyDeleteAll solved except what to do with Cujo's owners.
DeleteBarking dogs drive me crazy. I am so lucky Fred is such a sweet heart. Now waking up to the smell of skunk this morning was not much fun either. :(P Hope the office lets him know that is not acceptable.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll take the barking dog over the skunk every day of the week.
DeleteThe KOA was crazy busy and crowded last weekend, with the most kids of all summer for activities. This weekend was busy, but not full and kind of mellow. A lot of the kids already started school and sports activities.
ReplyDeleteThe last big fling of the summer. Quieter times are near.
