This morning I decided to check tire pressures before the sun got too high. I drug out the hose and fired up the compressor and proceeded to check Mel's AIR Firestone footwear. I only found one shoe that was running a bit light, so I removed the rest of the winter air and filled it with fresh summer air. Now all 6 tires are spot on the mark.
One project a day is enough so I have decide I'm done for the day. I'm a real Don Juan, one and I'm done. I will do some more reading and as the notion strikes me, begin stowing stuff for a trip to Walmart in the next couple of days. I'm also planning a road trip this weekend so I need to get ready for that.
Later this evening we'll see if the Cardinal's can get back on track after taking a beating from the Braves over the weekend. All in all we keep searching for ways to enjoy the good life.
I have never swapped winter air for summer:)
ReplyDeleteIt's OK if you move with the seasons.
DeleteI never heard about switching out the air either. But if I could, I'd like some winter air about now ;-)
ReplyDeleteLike your Don Juan theory too!
Winter/summer air is something that all RVers should be aware of. Very similar information as the keys to the oar locks and left handed monkey wrenches.
DeleteGood that you are aware of these little known RV owner's secrets, John. Mel will appreciate it for a long, long time.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how little things can be overlooked.
DeleteNot sure if your title refers to Mel's shoe or the line you're handing us. ;)
ReplyDeleteI leave that up to the readers discretion.
DeleteI always pictured you as more of a Don Quixote type, uselessly charging at windmills. After all, you are a Cardinals fan... :cP
ReplyDeleteBeing a Cardinal fan has never been an exercise in futility. To do that you need to be a Cubs fan.
DeleteYou did good. That winter air gets mushy in the summer.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're aware of things that need to be taken care of.
DeleteIt's good to get those big jobs out of the way. Now you can relax. :)
ReplyDeleteYou just really have to pace yourself.
DeleteHot air is everywhere.8~)
ReplyDeleteYou just can't get away from it this time of year.
DeleteCheck gumotx for pictures of a neat train ride he did.
ReplyDeleteWii do.
