New location Cortez, Colorado.

I have moved across the state of New Mexico and a little bit north to Cortez Colorado for a couple of days. I am in the four corners area and the temperature is a lot more comfortable at 5,800 feet than it was at 7, 800 feet, at least for me. I have settled into the La Mesa campground for a couple of nights while I catch things up. The only problem so far is the campgrounds internet is down and my Verizon is showing up as a 2G. Workable, but too slow to post a bunch of pictures. The office is working on the problem and as soon as it's fixed I'll be able to post some of yesterdays pictures.

In the meantime, satellite is back and I'm again able to watch the Cardinals continue their winning ways. A must for enjoying the good life.

  2. I haven't heard of 2G for years. This is a good lesson on patience. Do you have any? Enjoy CO.

  3. Into every life some 2G must fall. Thank heavens for baseball, even if it is the Cardinals... ;c)

    1. It would be better in this day and age if it didn't. 3G is bad enough now that we've been spoiled by 4G.

  4. Lots of neat things to see in that area. When I worked at Mesa Verde last year and went to Cortez to shop, it always seemed to be at least 10+ degrees warmer in Cortez than the campground I was in.

    1. I saw an Aramark bus this morning bringing employees to town and thought about you working here last year and talking about the bus.
