This morning Dave and Debbie and the wonder dog Luc loaded up the train and headed north. When I say train I'm not exaggerating, they have a class 8 truck (big truck) followed by a fifth wheel trailer followed by a car on a dolly. It looks like they are somewhere around a half mile long. So my first order of business this morning was to see them off and wish them safe travels until we meet again. While I was down in the valley I stopped to visit with Clay and get caught up on the current gossip and news of the world.
All aboard, the train departs.
I am now back home and waiting to see what the weather will bring today. We are under a 30% threat of rain and it's supposed to be overcast for the day. Looks like to me a good day for getting on the computer and planning my next move.
Planning my next move is one way to enjoy the good life.

DeletePlanning gets more interesting once you have been an OTR driver and seen everything that can be seen from the roadway. I need inspiration so I am very interested in your next travels.
ReplyDeleteOTR drivers get to see the interstates, but usually miss the two lane roads.
DeleteThanks for the photo. I think it is a bit more than a half-mile long! I'd be scared to death to drive that thing. Matters of fact, I would be scared to death to ride in that thing!

DeleteAnd I thought we were long when we were towing the boat behind the fiver. We were 72 feet. I hated it.

DeleteThere is no way I would want to drive that or even be in the passenger seat. It's way too long for any road or any traffic.
