Say what

A few weeks ago I noticed both my credit card and my debit card would be expiring while I was on the road this summer. I stopped by the Bank of America to see about getting them replaced before I left with new expiration dates. Yesterdays mail brought two new cards, a debit card that now expires on 3/17 and a new credit card that still expires on 5/13. Makes you wonder who the bright person at credit card headquarters was that would issue a credit card for two months without changing the expiration date. At least we were 50% successful and I will have a debit card to travel with until the credit card catches up to me.

Today it is supposed to be a little cooler than yesterday and yesterday when we hit 100 degrees according to the weather bureau. I registered 103 in our neighborhood and it did necessitate the operation of the refrigeration unit. Today should only bring 93 temps and tomorrow dropping to 80.

Today is jam session day in the park, but I'll give it a pass. Avoiding the jam session for me and my tin ear is another way I enjoy the good life.

  1. Last time I tried to get a new debit card it took three tries. They kept cancelling the cards before I even received them. :(

  2. Now that is a pretty crazy thing. Why would they give you two different expiration date?

I thought it was hot in Houston. You got us bet by at least 10 degrees.

  5. We had to leave Arizona to get the temperatures to cool down. When it hangs in the 90's, it's time for us to run.
