Happy Easter

Happy Easter to all.

Today is the day I will be buttoning up Mel for the long hot summer. I will be draining the holding tanks, pulling in the slides, stowing the sewer and water hoses and filling the sinks and toilet with water. Adding water will keep things from drying out too much and when I fill the toilet with water in the morning it will be covered with Saran Wrap to keep the seal wet and to slow up evaporation. I will also double check the last minute packing to minimize what essential will be forgotten tomorrow.

When I stepped out this morning I found that I had a visit from the Easter bunny sometime overnight and he left an egg on my step. Thank you bunny.

After I complete my chores today there will still be some time to enjoy the good life.

  1. You must have been a good boy this year to get an Easter egg.

Safe travels my friend! Happy Easter.

    1. I'm sure you must be right. If that was the criteria there must be a basket full for the Weavers.

  2. Darn not only Santa forgets about me...now the Easter Bunny too :-(

I had no idea one had to do all those things to an RV specially the saran wrapping of the toilet when you embark on a long trip. Learned something new.

    Happy Easter!

    1. I'm sure it was just an oversight on the big bunny's rounds.

The Saran Wrap is to keep the water from evaporating and the seal from drying out.
