The breeze

Today we are in the process of returning some of the land we took from Mexico as a result of a 30 mile wind blowing form the north to the south. Large amounts of topsoil are in the air with a southerly attitude.

Tonight entertainment returns to the park in the form of The Young Family Band from Guthrie Oklahoma. Their show presents some Gospel and Bluegrass music with a touch a Country. They appeared in the park last year and I know for a fact we will be entertained tonight.

The rest of the day will be spent hunkered down to avoid the dust in the eyes syndrome. I have a new book to read so I will use it to enjoy the good life.

  1. You've got the wind, and I'm thinking of building an ark today. ;(

    1. Always thank the weather gods for the good days, especially when you don't have to work.

  4. Maybe some of those undocumented folks will stay in Mexico and start farming on all the topsoil blowing over there?

  5. We have been outside sight seeing all day. We are both sticky with so much dust on us. It has been a horrible outdoor day!

    1. We've sure moved a lot of topsoil though. Too bad you stood in the way of the dusts journey south.

  7. Just for the record I did not send that wind to you! You just seem to get in the way of our left overs. Sorry
Hope you enjoy the entertainment tonight.
