DVR time

I need to DVR my life and play it back when I have time to enjoy it. Today is going to be another busy day, My neighbors are having happy hour today at four, that will be followed by Indiana basketball at six and the my other neighbors Wes Thibodeaux and the Cajun Travelers, will be preforming here in the park tonight. Wes is married to a Hannibal lady and currently lives in Clarence Missouri. They stay here in the park when they are in the Valley and we are often treated to impromptu jam session. Wonderful Cajun music.

Yesterday I was able to complete my taxes and efile them. I received an email stating it would probably be 3 to 5 days before they were accepted by the federal government. Thirty minutes later I received another email saying they had been accepted. I guess the government was desperate for my money. I hope they are as quick with the refund so I can buy a tank of gas before the price goes up.

With todays schedule I will have no trouble enjoying the good life.

  1. We are with you. Some days a DVR would come in handy for sure.
Our Buckeyes just lost by a basket to Michigan two nights ago...rats. We will be watching your Indiana team tonight also.

  2. I'm very happy with my DVR. It does not have a clock to set like my old VCR did. I never could set it anyway. Guess DVRs are old timer proof... :c)

  3. That's exactly why you blog, John. Otherwise, you would never be able to remember what you were doing last week, let alone any further back than that! You could put up video, I suppose. What's your bandwidth like there?

  4. Maybe a twin would help a bunch too. That way you could be in one place and the twin could be someplace else. Look at all you'd get accomplished! Then, you'd be able to delegate the job of blogging to the twin. Oh well .. some days are busy and others not so much. We're still waiting for a not so much day.

    1. I came close to a twin with a younger brother 8 years my junior, referred to as the reluctant twin.

  5. Amazing how good the DVR in your head can work. Sometimes a wiff of a smell can bring back a little movie in your head... or a strain of a melody, or an old photo....

  6. If they make a DVR for our lives, you can have mine. but you'd throw it out because this week, it has been contained mostly of sitting at mechanic garages. Or it might come in handy for insomnia? Yes, that should put one nicely to sleep..zzzzz

    1. I think we ought to be able to edit so we just end up with highlights.

  7. I'm so happy I don't have to file anymore. But I guess that means I'm poor. Oh well I can handle it.
