A mild panic has set in around here as what seems like the first time in weeks a huge fiery ball has appeared in the sky. As a matter of fact that is the only thing in the sky. Not one cloud is visible. The thermometer is climbing up the scale and has already hit 71 and the park residents have all come out into the world like a colony of ants heading for the sugar bowl. This weather is the kind of weather we came here to enjoy and it is bringing out smiles all around.
A little excitement last evening as the park work campers were requested to hit the road. It seems they were doing more camping than working and park management showed them the exit.
I received an email today from HitchUpandGo letting me know I've been included in their blog directory. In just briefly looking over their site it looks like this might be a good resource for RV information. I'll have to check it more closely.
Now, I'm going to push away from the keyboard and go explore this world of sunshine while taking full advantage of enjoying the good life.
Don't forget the sunscreen. It may be needed after all these gray days.
ReplyDeleteI lathered up before heading out.
DeleteEnjoy the sunshine, we are supposed to have rain and frost in our forecast for the weekend, not looking forward to that in the Valley of the Sun!
ReplyDeleteSounds like the Valley of the Sun is misnamed, at least for this weekend.
DeleteWow You're famous now. And to think we knew you way back when!
ReplyDeleteSo far it hasn't gone to my head, but then it just happened this morning.
DeleteNo sun here. Clouds, wind, cold and miserable. This really can't be AZ can it? Enjoy the sunshine. You deserve it after all this time.
ReplyDeleteWe are taking full advantage of it. Looks like it will be colder next week.
DeleteWe woke up to unexpected SNOW!! Didn't last long but still...
ReplyDeleteCan't remember...what do they call that big yellow orb up in the sky???
I can't remember it's been so long, but I heard some referring to it as if it were a male child.
DeleteCongratulations on being such an outstanding role model for others, John. You are, you know, and don't you forget it. Glad that you weren't too freaked out by that close encounter with that fiery orb! We had snow on the ground, this morning. Now that was a surprise! But, we didn't panic either, and it all melted, so now it's just wet outside again. I would ask you to send that sunshine our way, but then, you probably wouldn't get the full effect there, so you enjoy it! We will stay huddled inside with the heat turned up, and try to stay warm.
ReplyDeleteI am doing all I can to spread this weather across the country, it might take a couple, three months, but I'm working on it.
DeleteWe got the same email from HitchUpandGo. After I check it out and if it is good, I too will include a link in our next post.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous day! Hallelujah!
I arranged this for Paul and Marsha. Just remember me next week when we're in the 50's.
DeleteI think you have been instrumental in helping Paul and Marsha successfully evade that bad weather mojo that was dogging them everywhere they went this past year. With your positive and warm thoughts, 2013 will turn out to be a sunny one for them. Thanks for all that you do for your friends, John.
DeleteWe're not out of the woods yet, but working on it.
DeleteAt least your weather has changed for the better. Ours is not good at all. I just checked weather bug I don't knwo where they are getting this info but they are way off base.
ReplyDeletethey claim its 63 degrees there wrong it is about 58 they say the wind is 10 miles an hr wrong again it is so windy my windows are rattling and I am waiting for my awning to depart.
I would like to share what we had today if only I knew how.
DeleteMost workampers are hard workers, too bad your park got the lazy ones. It was nice to have a sunny day today, but I had to work. We had a lot of visitors to the refuge today.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine on a day like today people were getting out and looking for things to do.
