This morning out my window I have seen Santa pass by. The problem is he's on his motorcycle and is by before I can get my camera out. Actually the guy is from the park and he dons a Santa suit, hops on his motorcycle and off he goes. I'm sure he is having lots of fun turning heads as he drives by, but I'm not sure if he is tracking fender benders caused.
When choosing a park in the Rio Grande valley it is important to consider the location. One of the local parks, the Chimney is located on the banks of the Rio Grande river on the other side of the levee. It made the TV the other night as a fleeing drug dealer came up and over the levee, through the park and splashed his vehicle into the river. The driver then swam to Mexico to avoid arrest. One of the park residents, sitting on his golf car, explained to the TV reporter this was no big deal, it happened a couple of times a season. I believe if I were in that park I would consider it a big deal, just me I guess.
We have again slipped into the weekend mode with a full schedule of games on tap for this afternoon. More than enough to do to enjoy the good life.
