Activity day

Today is the jam session day in the park and people started arriving at 11:00 am for the 1 o'clock session. Parking is at a premium as are chairs in the rec hall. These jam, sessions attract a wide range of talent from professional quality to some folks that do their best to rid the park of stray cats. I probably shouldn't judge musical talent considering I was appointed to tend the lights for the high school glee club. I actually got a music grade for turning lights on and off.

Other than that their are no plans for the rest of the day until later when Missouri basketball is on the tube. I think I'll take my ear to the jam session and lend it to them while enjoying the good life.

  1. I think our choir director was stone deaf the day we had try outs. I made the choir and am a terrible singer.y two friends that can sing and have talent made the glee club. Go figure. Buty secret has stayed hidden for 40 plus years...I winked at him... Hehe.

  2. So that talent to turn lights on and off bode your naval career well, eh?

    1. Would have been better if the Nuns had taught me the Morse code instead of notes.

  3. At least you found something to do today. I guess that ferry thing wasn't your idea of a fun trip down the river.

    1. I have no desire to end up in Mexico and that's where the ferry goes.
