visiting day

Today the new work campers started to work and I had a chance to talk with Paul and Sylvia and it seems like we share some common destinations. They just came from Elephant Butte by way of Kerrville Texas and and of course I came from Elephant Butte by way of Blanco Texas. They happen to know Dave and Debbie my friends from Elephant Butte and of course that leads to 'small world isn't it'. Fortunately no one felt the need to break into the song and we just let the moment pass.

This morning I got up at 7:00 am because Javi was going to drop off the keyless remote. He called at 9 and said he had a few errands to run for his wife, but would be over soon. I'm guessing he's working graveyard shift tonight at the car lot, because there is no sign of him yet.

Walking around the park there seems to be a lot of activity under way. The people who had left last spring before the hail storm are now returning and repairs are under way.  It makes for a good chance to meet folks, because everyone is outside.

This afternoon the UPS man brought my order of The Solution. I've heard a lot of good things about this product and finally broke down and spent the $40.00 to try it for myself. Initial tests look promising.

Mel is getting a power washing on Saturday and after that I will use The Solution to finish the job and get Mel ready for the winter.

For the rest of my day it will be staying cool and enjoying the good life.

  2. You will love The Solution. It is the only thing Paul used on the motor home. He will continue to use it on the 5th wheel.
Glad you hit it off with the new workkampers. Always good to get on the good side of them. Never know when you might need their help.

    1. I've found you just can't have too many friends. You never know when you'll need them.

    3. I think he might need lessons on keeping promises or don't make promises you can't keep.

Good to hear about the Solution.

  4. The Solution is all my husband Joe uses too. Although he has just tried a new product called The Bullet You can Google it. He applys the Bullet after he is all done cleaning. It's also a spray and wipe product and he does a light buff afterwards. We have the most beautifully shiny cars in Clackamas County :)

    1. Thank you for another ringing endorsement. That just further confirms all the good stuff I've heard.

  5. You should get good results with that stuff! I carry a jug of it in Therapy, and just having it there in the bay seems to make the paint sparkle. Works even better when I actually spray some on the outside!

    1. Now that's an enlightenment, I didn't see anything in the directions about spraying it on.

  6. I haven't used the Solution yet, but saw it on a friend's motor home and WOW!!!

Now I have to stay long enough in one spot to be able to get some sent to me. If I can just keep that PDD under control...

  7. I am going to have to look into that stuff if I buy one to these vans. I don't know what the paint jobs look like yet. Tomorrow I go look at one and Sat. the other.
Are you going to take before and after shots.
