24 hours

Well it is now 24 hours since Javi was going to drop off my car and there has been no sign of him. Not only that , but he is not responding to my calls. Leaving messages at voice mail has gotten no response, either. I am quickly loosing all respect for this man.

This morning I did solve one problem. The pantry had gone bare so I unhooked everything and made a trip to Wal-mart so at least I won't starve to death waiting for my car to be returned. I am also making arrangement for a friend to take me to my doctors appointment in the morning. The appointment is for tests and should be an in and out affair, but I hate to impose on someone to do what I should be able to do for myself.

What really puzzles me is the total lack of common courtesy, I mean how hard would it be to pick up the phone and let someone know what's going on. When I was in business, communication was a very important part of customer service. I will now step down from my soap box and wait (but not patiently) for word of what's going on so I can get back to enjoying the good life.

  3. I am with you on the common courtesy, it does not take very much to pick up a phone and explain what is going on. I am sorry you are having to go through this.

Sounds like your used car salesman is living up to the bad reputation they have long had. Hope he did not sell the car to another customer.

    1. I know some of the things you've gone through, including yard man and plumber, so I'm sure you can relate.

    1. A simple phone call would be nice. I don't know if the car went back to the shop or if the salesman dropped over dead, The imagination runs wild without info.

    2. I was wondering do you suppose something could have happened to him? Did you speak to anyone else at the place? It seems odd that he was talking to so well and then suddenly POOF he is gone.

  7. This is totally uncalled for. This makes me very angry!!! I know if this happened to Paul, he would be at that dealers door the second it opened on Monday morning. Maybe right after you doctor appointment, you need to make a stop there and get to the bottom of this!

  8. I think it's time you went into action. Whatever that is. Rude is rude is rude. I'm sure they'll have a good excuse but don't forget to put it on Yelp.com

  9. Just want to say I'm sorry this is happening to you. We called a plumber last week. When he didn't show up as promised and didn't call, we called a different plumber and they fixed the problem. First one never did call back but he for sure lost a potential customer forever. Not so easy with a car dealer though. Hope it all works out.
