Good/bad

Yesterdays weather kept activity of a minimum as it never cleared up and it rained off and all day and the thermometer couldn't climb out of the 60's and most of the day stayed in the 50's. After lots of 100+ days this was a system shock. Today it is a little better and we are pushing 70, but it's still overcast and it has tried to rain a couple of times. These conditions lead to lots of TV time and the results of my teams yesterday were mixed. 50% of the four teams I was following won, of course if you want to take the negative approach 50% of my teams lost. Half full/half empty, your choice, mine has always been half full.

Today there is another full complement of sports to watch, baseball now and football later. In my mind this is a plenty fun way to enjoy the good life.

  1. Enjoy your day...I did the same yesterday and was even able to get a few cat naps in too!

    1. No naps scheduled today, but that doesn't mean they won't happen.

  4. You shameless sports fanatic! Just think of all the answers to the world's problems you are letting pass by glued to your TV watching grown men play with balls!

Life as we know it could be coming to an end... ;c)

PS: Is your fantasy football team doing well? Mine is an embarrassment already.

    1. Fortunately the games don't start until noon so we still have time for our morning problem solving get together. My attempt at fantasy football a couple of years ago ended so far in the tank the I decided I was a better fan than coach.

  5. The temps are great but the rain not much. I guess your getting out rain. But you had plenty sports to keep you busy.

    1. If it wasn't for the sports I'd be mad at you for sending all this rain, but it's supposed to be better tomorrow.

  6. Ah yes, Sunday afternoon football. Russ whooped our son in their fantasy league today so he was happy. We'll see what happens after tomorrow's game.

  7. Our Packers didn't pull it off, so we are all sad in CheeseHead Land.
