Elephant Days

This weekend is Elephant Days here in Elephant Butte. This is an annual celebration that combines lake activities with a parade, carnival, balloon flights and street dances. In other words, a good weekend to hunker down in the RV park and stay out of the way.

Another piece of rusty equipment was found in my walk yesterday. I was rather surprised to see that it was still here in the park and had not been requisitioned by either party to assist in spreading their messages in the last two weeks.

Two views of a political promise dissemination machine.

Today there is nothing on the agenda, we will just go with the flow. One thing is sure though, we will be enjoying the good life.

    1. The band might be a bit uncomfortable riding on this wagon.
