Another front

Another front has moved into Elephant Butte announcing the coming of fall. The wind blew all night and I finally pulled in the slide about two am to keep the slide topper from flapping in the breeze. This mornings low was 59 and the wind has been gusting to 30+ miles per hour. The sky is ugly and there is a 40% chance of rain. It doesn't look like there is much potential for enjoying the great outdoors today.

Yesterday the park finally got wi-fi and that is the topic of conversation today. Martha (the manager here) has worked long and hard to make this happen and it's now a reality. I'm sure the winter group will really appreciate this added feature.

Nothing is planned for today and with the weather it is just as well. It's good to know that we can still enjoy the good life from the indoors vantage point.

  1. Good, maybe all that rain will drown you little ant buddies!

    1. We didn't have any ants until after the first rain. I think they're instant ants...just add water.

    1. I'm just hoping the rain and cool temps move on out of here. High today has been 67.

  3. Yay on the wifi! Rain, shine, or wind, there's still a lot to appreciate being able to stay comfy inside of an RV.

  4. I didn't send it honest. It didn't rain here today but it was windy and chilly but nice.

    1. I'll take your word for it, but if you get a chance send some blue skies.

  5. I turned on all the fans and tried to send you some blue sky. Did it work?

    1. Surprisingly, yes. And I thank you for your efforts on my behalf. Currently 78 degrees blue skies and a 5 mph breeze. Super day.
