I continue to find evidence of the great Dr. Pepper explosion every time I turn around. I am making progress though. It amazes me some of the places drops managed to find a home. This morning I got out the Pledge and oiled all the woodwork and I am now unstickyfying (another new word) the floor. I have been over it 7 times with Swifter pads and I still need to keep moving as I cross it, staying too long in one spot might become a permanent location. Today I broke out the Fabuloso, a Mexican product, that seems to have some real clout. I am still amazed that half a can of Dr. Pepper can cover so much space.
Yesterday's package from Amazon was a 75 watt flood light which will be part of a 24/7 flag display when assembled. The only problem is the light I thought I ordered is not the light I got. I was looking for a light that turned on a dusk and off at dawn, but instead got a light that would have to be manually turned off and on. I immediately requested a return and was rather surprised to get a message to the effect of being a valued customer I could just keep the lamp on them and they would credit my account. How nice is that?
Today we are clouding up like it's going to try to rain , but it make no never mind because the Cardinals play on the west coast late this afternoon and I'll have to watch that as part of the good life.
Maybe that new flash will shine a few more drips for your clean up :O) I love Amazon! GO CARDS!!!
ReplyDeleteCj, I'm finding them everywhere I turn. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteThe secret, if you insist on exploding Dr. Peppers, is to use DIET. Makes just as big a mess but not nearly so sticky. Of course if you can confine said explosion to one area (such as the freezer) that is also a good idea!!
ReplyDeleteI expect the real secret might be to buy future supplies in the plastic bottles and maybe store them in the freezer.
DeleteAmazon really has the customer service thing down. We have been please with them and use them whenever we can.
ReplyDeleteI know you could manually turn the light on and off, but it would tire you out so much you wouldn't be able to enjoy the good life. Who'd have any energy left after chasing the Dr Pepper spots all day?
The problem would not be turning on and off the light, the problem would be training my self to recognize that it had to be done at dusk and dawn. It's sort of an old dog...new trick kind of thing.
DeleteThat Fabuloso is great stuff, I have purchased it at the dollar store. Hope you finally get all the sticky stuff taken care of.
ReplyDeleteMe too Teri, getting tired of Dr. Pepper sticky.
DeleteI have never used the fabuloso but I have used Awesome and it really is awesome. Sure hope you are almost finished cleaning up Dr Pepper. When those cans blow they really blow.
ReplyDeleteThar she blows, Dr. Pepper puts Moby Dick to shame.
