And it continues

Yesterday it continued to rain off and on all day ending up with an accumulation of 1.32 inches in the gauge. Much welcome relief for the area that has been short of moisture for a couple of years. We also had a fair amount of wind yesterday to keep the canvas flapping on the slides. Today's weather forecast says partly cloudy, but in looking skyward I'm not seeing the partly they are talking about.
Here is what Texas partly cloudy looks like.

It is fortunate that we are in the weekend mode, because it is way to wet to go out and play. Inside we will be able to watch a baseball and a football game while waiting for the weather to clear. It's all not bright sunshine while enjoying the good life, but it is the good life.

  1. We must have found your partly cloud. It started yesterday and is predicted to hang around for a few days. Temps are in the mid 50's with only a slight breeze. Perfect for having the windows open. Night time lows are in the upper 30's. Be Safe and Enjoy the Good Life!

    It's about time.

    2. Sometimes you have to look harder, but it's always there if you want it to be.

  3. That's a lot of partly clouds!! We've been enjoying blue skies, laced with wildfire smoke the last several days...but no internet. Enjoy those ball games. I had to read about the Ducks in the paper - didn't even have a radio!!

  4. We got the cloudy today we also got the sunny and then back to cloudy. I enjoyed all of it. They are rooting for the Jets here in NY. I hear them through the open windows of the local pub. They are enjoying the good life too.

    1. If they stay too long at the local pub they might forget who they are rooting for. LOL

    1. I guess it's just best to go with the flow and not worry about what you can't control.
