Weekend mode.

After another tough week we have arrive safely at the weekend and can switch over to the less active weekend mode. The big difference in the weekend mode is there is more viewing activity here in the park as the weekend warriors have arrived to provide me with entertainment right outside my window. Shuffling jet skis between here and the lake, hitching and unhitching seems to be the major activity. The logistics of it all escapes me, but the entertainment value doesn't.

Still no word on the furnace repair and I'm assuming they are waiting for all the parts to arrive before taking any action and seeing as how we have reached the weekend I would expect nothing will be done until next week at the earliest. I will be making a trip to Wal-mart the first of the week and then I will at least be able to eat while exhibiting an amazing amount of patience.

For the rest of the day it will be an easy matter to sit back and enjoy the good life.

  1. You still have a few months before you need that furnace. Hope those parts come in soon.

    1. Actually with my space heater I hardly ever use the furnace, but without it I'm sure this would be the beginning of the next ice age.

  2. At some of the RV museums they actually show some of the earlier RVs with Potbelly Stoves in them. Just think you could cook for yourself and heat Mel all while Enjoying the Good Life.

    It's about time.

    2. You are located not far from where I blew an engine one Sunday in a new purchased '67 VW bus, in 2005. Had a tow truck from TOC pick me and my nephew up. A guy across the mountain from you, in Alamogordo bought the bus as is and later became a new friend. Travels in a converted bus as his RV rig.

    3. Doesn't sound like that was the best of days, but it seemed to work out.
