Last night

While I slept last night two events occurred. First a low pressure front passed through and we had a nice little thunderstorm with a 12" rain (the drops were 12" apart). While this was going a very small railroad track laying crew entered my head and by the time I woke up they were busy pounding spikes and laying new track in my skull. Assessing the situation I took a couple of aspirin and rolled over, but not before I reminded the crew that it was Sunday and they could have the day off. 3 hours later the crew had packed up and left and now I can get on with my Sunday schedule.

Checking my Sunday schedule I notice that I have the entire day to just kick back and enjoy the good life.

  2. While you had drops were 12" apart...we had thundershowers all night and morning. Recieved 1.2" during the night. WOW.

  3. Paul and Marsha can't be that far away, it sounded like a heavy metal band knocking on the trailer and they topped it off with an unbeleavable fireworks display. Be Safe and Enjoy the Good Life.

    It;s about time.

    1. It's nice that the four of you have front row concert seats.

  4. Do you think it was all that talk about square nails and round holes yesterday that got that crew busy in your head? I know it was too much for me to think about. Anyway, glad they moved on and took the rest of the day off.
