Company in the neighborhood.

Yesterday I noticed on his blog the old fat man Barney was in the neighborhood in Carrizozo, so it wasn't much of a surprise when I got a phone call saying he was on the way to Elephant Butte for a couple of weeks and was planning on staying in Cedar Cove. So he should be in shortly after lunch and then we can begin to exchange current lies and catch up on the unpublished gossip.

This morning Clay and I had our regular morning pow wow (that's some Indian lingo) and worked over the problems of the day and we both agreed that the Sunday mode was in order for today. Now that that has been settled there is nothing left for today, but to enjoy the good life.

  1. What no Card's game to watch while Enjoying the Good Life? Hopefully Barney's High Altitude Headache is gone so he can keep Having Toooo Much Fun.

    It's about time.

  4. Someone left some serious issues at work and doled it out at me. I didn't get to enjoy the good life.....maybe tomorrow. Joe just wanted to say about the comment I left about the storm last week. I'm deaf, couldn't and wouldn't have heard the trees wind or any hailing going on. Thats why I sleep good and solid!!

    1. Michelle, sorry to hear that, but I guess if we look hard enough we can find positive in any situation. Thanks for stopping by.

    1. Behave is not in my dictionary, but that's true of a lot of words. I'm going to let my hair down, as soon as I get some.
