Seibert Colorado day 2

Since I arrived in Siebert on Saturday evening we have had mostly rain. This is a good thing because it has been awhile since they've had rain in this area and I'm glad to contribute where I can. I will probably sit here a couple of days and then head on to Elephant Butte to get the rest of the repairs to Mel completed and while there I will be able to figure out what to do with the rest of the summer. The other possibility would be to leave here and head toward the four corners area and make a big circle before heading toward Elephant Butte.  The decisions one has to make in this lifestyle are just never ending. I use a similar style as Yogi Berra and when I come to the fork in the road I take it.

Fortunately nothing has to be decided today so I can put my pea brain in idle for the rest of the day and just enjoy the good life.

  2. Watch out for the smoke clouds. they pretty well ran me out of New Mexico this spring. My sinus could not handle the extra added attractions the wind was carrying.

  3. Hi John, thought I'd stop by to see what you've been up to lately. Since I left Texas, my internet has been really bad. Then I'm finding that some folks have dropped off my blog roll??? I have no idea what happened? Google hiccup? Anyhow, just wanted to say hi!

    1. Hi TexCyn, missed you. Very frustrating to not have internet and be able to keep up with your blogger family. Not to worry, I won't desert you.

  4. You should always take the right fork, unless it feels right to take the left fork, which would then make the left fork the right fork. No problem there!

    1. Russ, I plan on having that laminated for my billfold as a reference card for when the situation arises. Thank you for the lucid explanation.

  5. Well you know the old saying...what ever you decide, it will be the wrong decision. But of course in your case, you can't go wrong!

  7. It seems like its never easy figuring out which way to go. I am writing down several different options for when I leave here at the end of October - I figure the answer will come to me a day or two before I have to leave here.

  8. Sounds like an unplan to me and those are always good. I have a plan but I won't tell it yet.

  9. Right fork, left fork, it doesn't matter as long as you don't keep going straight!
