Keeping cool.

Today's activities are limited as the thermometer rises. The day started with disposing of all the packing material that was delivered with the new toilet. They sure were extra careful protecting the china bowl and the packing material weighted almost as much as the toilet. Then I met with my neighbor Clay to solve some of the worlds problems. There is extra pressure on the two of us with so many to the other problem solvers on the road for summer travel. After that it was time to haul out the sewer hose and dump the tanks. Now that I'm using the Geo Method the readings on the tanks gauges are more accurate and I now know to empty the tanks before I'm standing in grey water in the shower. After all this activity I am sitting down in air-conditioned comfort to watch the Cardinal game as the outside temp has reached 96 degrees.

We did have a nice sunset last night which I was able to capture.

An interesting mix of colors.

The major event today, as it is every day, is enjoying the good life.

  2. I don't empty the gray tank until the water from the shower is running out the entrance door...

    1. I can see the advantage of using the gray water to clean the linoleum. Two birds...one stone.

    1. It was a pretty one, unlike tonight where we have black skies and 25 mph winds. It's trying to do something, but hasn't yet.

  4. Now Joe I know your a sharing kind of person but both Kathy and I agree that you could have shared the heat and storms with someone else. It's definitely making it quite the chore at Enjoying the Good Life.

    It's about time.

    1. I ran away from up there to escape the heat and storm. It seems to be a bit cooler here in New Mexico, figure that one out.
