Bill time

Today is bill paying day. One of my favorite days of the month. Fortunately there are only three monthly bills to contend with: Direct TV, Verizon Internet and the Visa card that I use for travel expenses. Of course the Visa bill was a whopper this month with all the travel and campground fees (oh, and don't forget the new throne). I am still fortunate because I don't have a mortgage, utility bills, car payment and all those other expenses associated with a Sticks and Bricks existence. And the real plus is when the grass gets too high or the neighbors get unruly all I have to do is turn the key and find a new location.

After the bills are paid there is a Cardinals/Cubs game to watch and that will pretty much sum up the activities planned for the day. It's a pretty good deal when that's all you have to do to enjoy the good life.

  1. Wow that is a lot to do in one day. You'd better slow down and pace yourself!

    1. It might just be my imagination, but it seems like the bills come every month.
