The weekend schedule has ended and we are now back to the daily normal schedule. I assure you without extreme circumspection you will have trouble discerning the difference. Time was spent this morning discussing the Olympics with Clay and then a visit to the office to meet the new work campers that began work today. I also had another skirmish with the ants that are trying to invade my space, but are paying the price. This war will not end on favorable terms for the ants and they probably should realize this and cut their losses.
Later today I will be checking with Chip to see the status of the parts we have ordered and if nothing is arriving in the next couple of days I'm planning on heading to Chloride for a couple of days to ward off hitch itch. Exploring old ghost towns is always a way to enjoy the good life.
I look forward to some more coverageof Chloride. Keep cool.
ReplyDeleteWorking on it Barney, only 96 degrees here today.
DeleteIf you head out in a few days, will your title be "Abnormal Week?"
ReplyDeleteSome folks will say everything I do is abnormal.
DeleteHave you tryed Terro ant killer? Good stuff we had some in the bathroom put out a liquid bait station and two days not a one.
ReplyDeleteI always used Terro when living in the Midwest. The last time I looked for it in this part of the country I couldn't find it, but it does work.
DeleteMost times you will find the best insecticide to be Weed Killer. The warning on the label says it will affect the insect population. That makes for a bad day for the insects but helps you to Enjoy the Good Life.
ReplyDeleteIt's about time.

DeleteThe battle will be won and I personally will affect the insect population.
DeleteHave fun at the ghost towns but don't bring Casper back to Mel, even if he's a friendly ghost. You'll have enough competition from all the ant ghosts trying to take up residence...
ReplyDeleteIf I can find an ant ghost to scare the ants I bring him back, otherwise no ghosts.
DeleteNasty pests, why do we have to deal with ants and mice.
ReplyDeleteNot my idea of a good time.
