Wait mode

Standing by is the name of the game and it's boring. Now I know when they say on TV and radio ads operators standing by how they must feel. I have an extreme case of hitchitch, but there is nothing that can be done about it until at least next Wednesday when the repairs are made. I guess I'll just take a chill pill and play Maytag repairman.

I sent an email yesterday to the Amazon seller who is providing my Tracfone threatening to cancel my order for the LG LG800G Tracfone because it was not showing shipped. Today I heard back with a 'sorry the phone was shipped and we just forgot to updated the shipping info'. Sure enough the tracking number is showing the package has left Albuquerque and is somewhere between here and there. It will probably arrive on Monday because the local post office doesn't deliver packages on Saturday.

Fire update: Our little blaze to the west of us has grown to 270,722 acres or 423 square miles and continues to grow and they now indicate a 30% containment with a high potential for more growth, with strong winds predicted for the weekend and 4% humidity this is almost a certainty. So far there has been little impact here as we continue to watch smoke billow to the north and south of us.

Today's indoor efforts will be directed at trying to determine how the Maytag repairman remained sane while enjoying the good life, if tomorrow's blog is incoherent babbling you'll know I didn't succeed.

  1. One word for you John...solitaire! Or, you could play poker against yourself, and see who wins!

    1. Thanks Russ, I was all set to follow you advice and found that my phone was just delivered so I can spend the rest of the afternoon trying to get over the learning curve.

  3. We're sitting still in Indiana with bright warm temps.

Even though our friends are looking at trailer repairs after playing tag with that tree, we're still all Enjoying the Good Life.

    Same your way John.

    It's about time.

    1. I'm very familiar with Middlebury, that's where Mel was born and I've toured the Jayco factory twice. Take the tour if you have time.
