Today's project

This morning I'm involved in getting together some medical information I've been keeping for tomorrows doctor visit. With daily walking and watching food intake my blood reading have dropped about 400 points and I hope I'm well underway in getting this diabetes thing under control. The big question will be has enough progress been made for the doctor to free me up for some summer travel or will I be here for another month as the thermometer continues to climb. I am presently formatting and printing out a spreadsheet that I have kept all month with my food intake and blood readings. I'm also working on updating the medical information on Minerva. Software on the computer is updated by the user (me) and then transferred to the Minerva Flash Drive for carrying in your billfold. You can see how small the drive is compared to my cell phone.

This afternoon it will be more of the same while waiting for this evenings cool down and trying to enjoy the good life in 90 degree plus temperatures.

  1. EEEks, I hope you have fans to help with that heat till the a/c gets fixed! Is it humid there? It's actually the humidity that zaps me here. Right now, it's 82 in the RV, humidity at 71%, but the fans are really keeping me cool.

  2. If it gets too bad I'll sit in the refrigerator, it still works. Humidity here is 70%.

  3. Good luck at the doctor's!

It really is a life long change to eat better and exercise more at our age. Taking better care of ourselves is a good all-around thing to do to make sure we have a longer, healthier life. :)

  4. Make sure you don't eat all the food in the fridge while you're in there! Best wishes for your Dr. appointment.
